1. Bookings and Deposits

• All bookings are subject to availability.
• A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure your date.
• Full payment must be made prior to the departure of your charter.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• Customer Cancellation: Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel within 72 hours of the charter date, .
• Weather and Safety: The Captain has the final authority to cancel or postpone any trip due to adverse weather or safety concerns. In the event of a cancellation by Clew Bay Charters, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your booking. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by guests.

3. Safety and Conduct

• All passengers must adhere to the Captain’s instructions at all times while on board.
• Life jackets must be worn by children and as directed by the Captain/Crew.
• The Captain reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.
• Any damage to the boat or equipment caused by negligence will be charged to the responsible party.

4. Fishing and Environment

• Passengers are responsible for adhering to all Irish sea fishing regulations, including catch limits and size restrictions.
• Any fish kept must be within legal limits. Clew Bay Charters promotes sustainable angling practices.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, fishing and boat travel carry inherent risks. By boarding, passengers acknowledge these risks and agree that Clew Bay Charters, its Captain, and crew are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained while on the vessel, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
